Raúl Guerrero works internationally as a fashion stylist + creative director based in New York and Los Angeles.
Guerrero incorporates motifs from his Chicano upbringing while growing up on the West Coast. His main sources of inspiration derive from science fiction, family, and cultural background—he recalls looking at his father’s polaroids and admiring his Tias’ and Tios’ 80s flair which led him to explore this line of work. Guerrero appreciates the use of workwear and uniforms in communities as a symbol of utilitarianism and embeds this concept into his styling. His approach combines Modern and Postmodern art influences, bringing in reductive and modernist themes into his creative visions.
